A note from Kegan · 01

Where the Hill Country meets the river.

Most campgrounds have a map. Ours has a bridge. Built in 1939, the Regency Suspension Bridge is the last of its kind still open to automobile traffic in Texas — and our five acres sit right beneath it, on 500 feet of Colorado River frontage you can fish, tube, kayak, or simply stand in.

We built this place for people who want quiet — real quiet. No highway noise, no light dome on the horizon, no neighbours crammed in. Just mesquite shade, river sounds, fire-pit smoke, and a sky that earns its reputation on clear nights.

On the river · under the stars

Some of the darkest skies in Texas.

Mills County sits far enough from any city that the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye on clear nights. It's the kind of thing that sounds like marketing until you see it.

  • Fishing the Colorado River
  • Tubing & kayaking
  • Swimming from the riverbank
  • Walking the Regency Bridge
  • Horseshoes & cornhole on the grounds
  • Star gazing — zero light dome
